Terms of service

These terms are between you and the operator of Wa-Zo-Bia Registry ("we", "us"). Using the site, an access pass, a plan or Ohùn Lab means you accept them.

Speakers who contribute recordings are covered by their own consent form, signed at the time of recording. Where a speaker's consent and these terms disagree about what may be done with that speaker's voice, the consent form wins.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, your access pass code and your admin key. A pass opens the lab for 24 hours on one device and is not meant to be shared. Plans attach to the account that bought them.

We may suspend access that is being shared, resold, automated against our terms, or used to generate voice outside a speaker's consent.

Plans are billed monthly or yearly through our payment processor. Each plan carries a monthly credit allowance shared across narration, transcription and cloning at the rates published on the pricing page. Credits reset each billing period and do not roll over.

Prices may change with notice for the next billing period. Taxes may apply depending on where you are.

Generated audio may be used only within the consent scope of the speaker whose voice produced it. Cloning and generation are blocked in code unless the speaker granted corpus consent and signed a separate media and film use consent that has not expired.

Free tier output is for evaluation. Paid plans include a commercial licence for the audio you generate, still bounded by the speaker's consent scope.

You may not use the service to:

• impersonate a real person for fraud, or to make anyone appear to say something they did not,
• produce political messaging attributed to a real person without their agreement,
• clone a voice you have no signed consent for,
• strip, alter or hide the provenance record attached to a generation.

Corpus exports are for the purpose agreed with us in writing. An export contains only verified clips from speakers with unexpired granted consent, and every export is logged with its filter criteria and timestamp.

If a speaker withdraws consent, you must stop using their material in new work and remove it from datasets you hold when we ask.

You can cancel at any time. The plan runs to the end of the paid period and then does not renew. Part periods and unused credits are not refunded unless the law where you are says otherwise, or we agree in writing.

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we do not promise that a generated voice will be fit for a particular production.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
