The registry
How the registry works
Consent happens in the browser, on an invitation link that works once. Corpus use and media use are two separate signatures.
Each record carries a West Africa Time (WAT) reading, a US Eastern reading, and an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 8601 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) record.
Nothing is auto-approved. The verifier's name stays attached to the clip for as long as the clip exists.
An export contains only verified clips from speakers whose consent is granted and unexpired, and it writes its own log row before the file is handed over.
Withdrawn consent is honored immediately and shown in coral throughout the registry.
The Wa-Zo-Bia standard
They govern the registry, this website, and every figure either one publishes.
Verification is always a named human action.
Missing data is shown as missing, never invented and never quietly rounded to zero.
A number without a source and an observation date does not belong on this page.
